Zara Lipsett offers the School with over 10 years experience training and owning a multi whippet household. A qualified and experienced behaviour consultant Zara believes in a combined approach of behavioural modification & training.
Zara's whippets are a mix of rescues and pups who have all needed work in various areas and each taught her something unique in her approach to Whippets.
Whippets are sensitive and sometimes complex, but with her unique insight you will soon have your wild or worried whippet Whippet become a Whippet Wonder!

Reactivity dripped 8 week self paced course
Learn about reactivity, body language, skills to read your dog and set you up forsuccess with your reactive whippet.

WEEKLY FACEBOOK LIVE
Each week Zara will run a facebook live covering a different topic, giving the opportunity for q & a.
This is often beneficial to get some quick answers on any problems your having and sessions will be recorded.
These are often hugely popular and helpful and can again be tailored to the group and their pups!
WEEKLY TRAINING TASKS
Each week Zara will set up a weekly task for you to try with your Whippet! It will include various levels and different ways to tweak it.
You are encouraged to send over your training videos for feedback, so you can get advice on how to progress.
You are welcome to ongoing support and Zara will answer your questions relating to your Whippet in the group.
TRAINER IN YOUR POCKET
You may need answers quickly or want feedback on an activity or how that activity went. You may be unsure of how to progress with an activity or simply want some reassurance.
Trainer in your Pocket is the ability for you to email/ Whatsapp me and get a response in 24 hours. This ensures that you have the answers you need to continue on your training journey.
Whether you have a question on a training exercise, or how to handle something on your walks. Maybe you need a quick piece of advice or reassurance on something your working on.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT TRAINING METHODS DO YOU USE?
Zara only uses training methods that are modern, positive and science based. This means we find what motivates your dog and use that. For many dogs that be food, for others that may be toys, play or space. Outdated training techniques are NOT used or recommended. Meaning Zara will not work with : choke chains, shock collars, water sprays, citronella, lead corrections or shouting.
WHERE IS THE SCHOOL FOR WHIPPETS
School for Whippets is hosted on its own website.
This site is clearly formatted in a way to help find you what you need for you and your Whippet Wonder.
WHY ONLINE TRAINING
Online training is convenient and easy to fit into your schedule.
It can be ideal as it ensures your Whippet is not too distracted and they can concentrate.
This means they can learn the skills required and you can take in all of the information without trying to focus while other dogs are distracting your whippet!
Online training is also not weather dependent - a big bonus for our sometimes fair weathered Whippets!
HOW LONG DO I SIGN UP FOR?
You can cancel anytime! It is £25 per month, but you can cancel whenever you may need to. You are not tied into a long term contract.
